Well, I am done with Intermediate I..... and I got a score of 98%...
stress.... 1 mark gone from oral... 1 mark from written....
Last week when I went to register for intermediate II.. I saw all my classmate's score...
98% was highest... me and my deskmate.....this chinese gal... Gan...
she's taking korean too if im not mistaken...
bestnye.....to be single and no committment ...
really regret the time I wasted playing games and doing nothing...
should have went travelling and learn languages and worked out at gym...

now I am taking intermediate II....
the pace is so fast and a lot of things to learn..
hope I survive....

I like to learn grammar.. its like a puzzle..... best

I wonder if I should continue my japanese classes...

aku dok blajar masu form.. nak carik meaning dalam jishou (dictonary) pun susah...
coz kalau aku search kaimasu... tak jumpa pape..
aku kena search for "kau".. meaning to shop...

tapi camne aku nak search kalau aku tatau dictionary form die..?

kalau group 2... cam tabemasu... senang je aku nak search.. taberu
kalau group 1... ni payah sket nak search....
susah aa kalau lupa.. pastu nak tgk dictionary tapi takleh...

but weird sket.. coz aku bace buku diorang ajar based on the dictionary form...
as in taberu, okiru, yomu, nomu, suru
then ajar camne nak conjugate ..
tabetai, okitai, yomitai, shitai
tabete, okite, yonde, nonde, shite



tapi skang ni dalam klass blajar -masu form...
tabemasu, okimasu, yomimasu, nomimasu, shimasu...
then nak conjugate tu.... dah jadik confusing....

kalau group 2 senang.. taberu... drop the -ru... and tambah la pape pon..
tabemasu, tabetai, tabete, tabeta, tabemasen, tabenai, taberareru, taberarenai, taberaremasen...... so just drop the -ru at the end.. and add what ever u want... so 1 step process... thats why nama die ichi-dan verb...

yang group 1 ni payah... go-dan verb.. 5 steps process....
yomimasu, yomitai, yonde, yonda, yomimasen, and.... etc etc (tak cukup ilmu aku nak conjugate group 1 verb ni).....

anyways.. so aku dok bace semua reference websites/books.. semua suh start ngn dictionary form... taberu/yomu.... dari situ ajar camne nak conjugate...


tapi dalam klass die ajar dari masu ....tabemasu, yomimasu...
so aku cam konfius.... kenkadang tak sure aku nak gi from what to what...

but stakat ni yg aku tau...
aku tau conjugate more based on memory sebab selalu dengar...
bukan based on rules camne nak conjugate...

i got an ipod touch!!... main motivation is blogging on the go and to learn japanese through games, literature and podcasting... i need to wi-fi my house lah... so can blog while lying on the bed...pemalas betul...

Finished with my beginner I... 99/100.... over confident sgt aku, sampai tak bace soalan bebetul.... hilang satu markah... hmmm terkilan aku...

but its fun lah... a sense of achivement.. a sense of self usefulness... takde la diri ni terasa useless.. learning something new....

ade sorang budak kena repeat... coz he was too young aa i think...

haprak tak faham.. and depa cakap guna bahasa harian...
dalam buku n class ajar formal language....

tapi i found out that Samurai X... slow sket and jelas sket percakapan die...
sebab nak bagi berdebar and dramatic kot.. so characters die cakap slow..
and can catch a few words.....

To stay motivate: focus on what you know... not on what u dont know....

Went for my second class... so far nothing new...
All I can do based on self-learning...
but I still like the class to drill pronounciation into my head...

and I found tons of book... even Japanese for Busy People.. Kana workbooks etc.. for free... (i think the authorities havent found it yet, or they would shut it down due to copyrights violation)...

which get me to my next topik... books about kanji... found a book that tells you how the kanji is formed.. thus making u remember it better...

for example

川: This is a picture of a river... water flowing... River in japanese Kawa
田: This is a picture of rice paddy field... Ta or -da
山: This is a picture of a mountain, so this is Yama

the book tells you how the pictograms evolve into kanji... its interesting....

i have borrowed 2 japanese text book from dirah...
liking the Umich one, coz they have explanation on how and why.......
but aiyo, so slow la me learning it...

I also bought Japanese for Busy People... but cannot start that after I master all the hiragana and katakana....

thinking of joining once a week class at ICLS, they have in subang SS15.... dirah + teh said they took the once a week class... duration 3 months.. cozt around RM300 for 3 mths.. not bad rite??? can afford that....

dah lama aku nak amek klass jepun... time sama nak start gym dulu la.... its either japanese classes or bellydancing class (gaji trainee).. so I join fitnessfirst coz they have bellydancing classes... end up, tak pegi pun belly dancing class tu... but went to fitness classes...which I tremendously enjoy.. now, gaji dah naik... can do japanese class and fitness class...

currently: finished all the 46 hiraganas... also all the GA, ZA, DA, BA and PA...

today want to start all the Kya, Ja, cha etc..... the 2 characters hiragana with 1 sound..

i can read hiragana now, but so slowly.... especially if it involves the G,Z,D,B and P....

at first I started with studyjapanese.org...
so learn a few basic phrases in romaji (romanized words)
but I found out it will be better if I learn all the hiragana characters and some katakana so that I can learn japanese using kana...

I plan to buy the Japanese for Busy People, Kana version..

So I have to master reading (if possible writing) all the hiragana, to save money I plan to do this using practise sheets online.....
